Explore our Rooftop Terrace at Zoku Copenhagen

Greenhouse, Terrace, Bar & Private Event Space in Ørestad

Seven floors above Ørestad, Zoku’s rooftop is not just one thing. There’s the Greenhouse: a lush, plant-filled oasis with hammocks and city views. There’s the sun terrace: long communal tables, good drinks, no reservation needed. There’s the indoor rooftop: floor-to-ceiling windows, the Kindred Spirits Bar, and The Living Kitchen, 365 days a year. And for those who want the whole space to themselves, the south-facing terrace is available for private hire, for up to 50 guests. Residents, locals, and first-timers are all equally welcome up here. The elevator opens and the city opens with it.

Rooftop greenhouse

A green, neighborhood escape above the city.

Zoku comes in green, all the way up to the rooftop. The Greenhouse is our favourite surprise: a plant-filled, light-drenched space with hammocks, small patios, and views across Copenhagen that make the city feel both enormous and very close at the same time.

It’s the kind of place you find yourself staying longer than planned. Pull up a seat to catch up on some work, read something you’ve been meaning to read, or just sit with a coffee and let the plants do their thing. Residents, locals, and first-timers are all equally welcome: no guest card required, no reservation needed. Just take the elevator up.

Rooftop terrace

Grab a spot with a view, no reservation needed.

When the sun comes out in Copenhagen, this is where everyone ends up. Long communal tables, rooftop views over Ørestad and the city skyline, and a full menu running from breakfast through to late-night drinks: all walk-in, all first-come-first-served.

There’s something genuinely nice about eating brunch seven floors up with a stranger who turns out to be interesting. That’s the idea, anyway. Locals, residents, and complete first-timers all share the same tables up here: bring yourself, bring your laptop, bring a group. The terrace doesn’t take reservations, so just come up and find your spot.

The only outdoor event space on the rooftop.

The south-facing terrace is the one space up here you can have entirely to yourselves. Capacity for 50 guests outdoors, with the option to extend into the adjacent indoor Event Space: bringing the total to 130 guests across both spaces. It works equally well for after-work drinks, company celebrations, product launches, and private dinners under the Copenhagen sky.

Bar service from Kindred Spirits and catering from The Living Kitchen can be arranged for any private hire. Get in touch with the team to check availability and talk through what you need.

Floor-to-ceiling views of Copenhagen, all year-round.

Contrary to rooftop stereotypes, ours works just as well in February as it does in July. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the indoor space in natural light: the kind that makes you forget you’re in a city at all, right up until you look out and remember exactly where you are.

It’s the spot for remote work with a genuinely good view, a long lunch that stretches into the afternoon, or simply sitting with the Kindred Spirits Bar within arm’s reach. Winter, meet your match.
